A sweet friend of mine graduated from college last weekend. I wasn’t able to make the party, but wanted to make her a card to tell her how impressed I was with her Perseverance and hard work!
I loved the Paper Player’s colors this week. They are Christmas-y, but also applicable to other occasions!
And, I used the sketch from Clean and Simple. I am such a sucker with a sketch that has repeating elements!
This card uses a NEW stamp set. It will be in the upcoming Sale A Bration catalog which means it will be FREE!! Woot! I had nothing in gold other than ink, so I threw in the silver shimmer paper and it really made things pop! Who knew you could pull of silver and gold at the same time! Ha!
Stamps: Sprinkled Expressions (SAB)
Ink: Brushed Gold (I think..)
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Silver
Other: Big Shot, Stars #2 Die, Cherry Cobbler Twine, Large Scallop Circle Punch, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Stampin’ Dimensional.
TGIF!! 🙂 Thanks or stopping by!
Beautiful!
I liked this card so much I "pinned" it. Apparently I'm not the only one who liked it, because 3 people re-pinned!
Sweet way to use that new SAB set!!! I love it–that's a great sketch, too! Thanks for playing with us this week at the Paper Players!
Great card and wonderful use of the sketch. I love the silver shimmer paper and you paired it perfectly with the gold. So glad you joined us this week at the Paper Players.
Oh my gosh! How awesome is this! I really like the embossed SAB stars! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!
