Who stole my MOJO?

Happy Memorial Day! I am finally dragging myself off the couch after a few days of complete laziness. I am not one to lay around, but this weekend, I just couldn’t get motivated to do anything! The end of the school year has me fried! I have not been able to get any crafting done! Just couldn’t conjure up my creativity! So, I apologize for my blog-cation, but it was much needed!

Today’s card was inspired by the sketch at Clean and Simple.

For the background of my card, I rubbed the Versa Mark Pad over the texture plate. When I ran it through the Big Shot, it put the ink on the pressed part of the image. I sprinkled clear embossing powder of the whole thing and then ran the heat gun over it!

Stamps: Word Play (on sale!)
Ink and Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Versamark
Other: Big Shot, Backgrounds Embossing Plate, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Basic Black Satin Ribbon, Real Red brads

Don’t forget- only 1 more day to take advantage of Stampin’ Up’s Scrapbook Sale!

  1. This is just fabulous. What a great idea you had for the embossing! The graduate who received this will be happy indeed!
