Warms My Heart and Doughnuts?? - Pink Buckaroo Designs

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today I’m back with one more Warms My Heart project. Make sure to hop back to last week’s three Warms My Heart Facebook Friday projects here and yesterday’s first bonus card here.

Now, today’s card actually has a BIG flub! If you were with me on Friday when I showed it, you’ll remember that I thought she was holding a doughnut!!! I need to wear my glasses more often I guess. Dang it! I was so excited about this card too! I never even saw the snow globe bottom until I was showing it live!

Alright, what you see above is my “fixed card.” When I first glanced at this girl, I thought she was holding a doughnut, which led me to pull out the More Than Autumn stamp set and add some more doughnut images. Once I realized that it was actually a snow globe, I went and restamped it, masking off the base so that it does look more like a doughnut. I mean, the sentiment says “I would pick you over and over.” That goes with doughnuts, right? And the ore I looked at it, I realized it looks more like a cookie than a doughnut… whatever. Ha!

So here is the original image. The snow globe base is not easy to see!! At least to my old eyes… Anyhow, I think you can make this a cookie or doughnut by removing that snow globe base and it still turns out pretty darn cute! I colored the girl and the doughnuts with Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake and Copper Clay Stampin’ Blends, The Patterned Paper is actually a sneak peek of a new Online Exclusive coming out November 5th called Marbled Elegance!
