Teacher Appreciation and Marquee Love (Sneak Peek!)

Did you know it’s Teacher Appreciation Week? I hope you have found time to give the teachers in your life a little love. 🙂 We always make a big deal out of this week. I like to send something in each day for the girls’ teachers. Yesterday, I sent a vase of flowers with a beautiful handmade tag… And I forgot to take pictures!!! Whaaa!
But, today I am showing you the card I made for “gift card” day as well as today’s gift tag.
I took the opportunity to use the stamp set we got at On Stage called Marquee Messages. It will be int he new catalog June 1st. It’s perfect, right? I used big bold colors: Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.

I stamped it several times on each color of cardstock and then hand cut each separate piece out. I adhered them back together on the image stamped white.

Each one is a bit different.

I also used Writing Notes Background stamp and Work of Art for some of the doodles in the back.

Today I sent in a gift bag with a fancy clipboard, mouse pad and binder clips from Hobby Lobby.

I used the same stamp, but this time, I stamped it on Watercolor paper and painted it with the Aquapainter. I think I like the paper piecing option better… 😉
Check back later this week for some of the other things we sent in to show their wonderful teachers how much we love them!
