Hey everybody! Today I’ve got the first of multiple Sweetest Cherries projects to show you. I think this is my most favorite set from the new catalog. I LOVE it so much! When my first daughter was a baby, her nursery was cherry themed! So, cherries have a special place in my heart.

Let’s start with the colors- I used Sweet Sorbet for the cherries and Tahitian Tide for the background. What do you think of that background? We have a new set of masks called Artistic Mix Decorative Masks. I love masks that are geometric, and this one certainly is. I used a Blending Brush and lightly added Tahitian Tide ink to Basic White Cardstock.

Another new product I used was the fun Decorative Circle Punch. It’s a great staple to have. I stamped the cherry in Sweet Sorbet and the stem in Old Olive and punched both out with the Cherry Builder Punch. I added a strip of Kraft paper and a Tahitian Tide border (Brilliant Rainbow Dies.) I stamped the words again in Sweet Sorbet and fussy cut them with Paper Snips. Lastly, I added a Tahitian Tide Twine bow and a few Solid Faceted Gems.

Inside the card, I stamped the large Sweet and the cherry in Sweet Sorbet and the words in Memento Black.

Tomorrow’s Facebook Friday will feature same Sweetest Cherries Bundle. I’ve got three projects for you, including a 3D gift item. I hope you’ll join me over on Facebook at 2:00 pm CST!
