Sweet Stampede Blog Hop-Playing In the Rain

Hello everyone! Welcome to this month’s Sweet Stampede Blog Hop! I hope you will take the time to hop along to everyone’s blogs and leave them a little love in the comments. Our bolg hop theme this month is a sketch! I love using card sketches and in fact use them the majority of time I’m creating cards!

Our sketch is a great one! I love the different panels. I chose to make mine all the same size, but you could totally make them all different sizes if you want!

This week’s blog theme is going to be Easter! It’s a little less than three weeks away, so it’s time to get those projects done! For this card, I used the Playing in the Rain stamp set and matching dies. Both are on the Last Chance List and discounted! I also used my favorite gingham patterned print from the Floral Delight Designer Series paper Pack.

One of the fun things I did for this card is make the puddle shiny. I don’t know if you can tell, but I used Fine Tip Glue to make it look wet! I used the Daffodil Delight Ribbon and the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.

On the inside I added a piece of the Floral & Gingham Vellum to the inside as well as a piece of Basic White and a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock.
