Sweet Bugs

Hello everyone! I am excited to start my Sweet Bugs series with you today. I absolutely LOVE this whole suite of product. In fact, it was the very first thing I used when the new catalog came out. For today’s card, I started with a fresh Freesia card base and a pice of Lovely & Beautiful DSP. I loved the thought of some coordinating purples, so I dug through my paper stash and found this print that coordinates really well with the Cute As A Big DSP. I layred the next piece (Cute AS A Bug DSP) on a piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and added them tot he card base. Now, this bundle is really great because it gives you options! You can stamp and color or your can use the dies to cut out images already colored for you from the DSP. And that’s exaclty what I did here! This bug was cut directly from the DSP with the matching die. I layered him on a Vellum Every Day Arch and then added it to the DSP. The sentiment comes from the Words of Beauty stamp set. I stamped it in Versamark ink on a strip of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.

Inside, I added a piece of basic White Cardstock to a piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock. I also fussy cut some of the leaves from the DSP. I’d done this so that I could add it to the front, but it was too much. So not to waste my work, I added it to the inside!
