Sweet Bugs Bonus Card

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today I have one more Sweet Bugs project for you. In case you missed them, check out Thursday’s project here and Friday’s three projects here.

For today’s card, I chose two of the less busy patterns from the Cute as Can Be DSP pack. This paper is super cute, but some of the patterns are very busy! When you choose a busy pattern, make sure to pair it with patterns that are more monochromatic or geometric. I cut the bottom piece at an angle and the added a piece of Poppy Parade to anchor everything. The ladybug is stamped in Memento Black and colored with Poppy Parade and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. The mushrooms are cut from Basic White, Cajun Craze and Petal Pink Cardstock. The little hearts I stamped on the Crumb Cake Stylish Shape circle are actually from the Love Story stamp set. They’re stamped in Versamark ink. The Banner Sayings sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink on a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. It was punched out with the Three Banner Punch.

I used the Irregular Weave behind the circle and then added a Linen Thread bow. Lastly, I added a few of the clear dots from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes.

Inside, I added a strip of each of the same DSPs and stamped and colored another of the cute little bugs.
