Hi everybody! Scrapbook Saturday/Sunday has been postponed. I have a page, two actually, ready to go, but I want to meet the Color Q deadline in 14 minutes! LOL!
I saw something similar on Pinterest this week using these adorable flowers from Mixed Bunch and just couldn’t wait to make one!
I filled an old Mason Jar with red hots (I need another bag!) to hold the BBQ skewers! Isn’t it cute! I think this will be a teacher gift this year!
I used Real Red and Regal Rose for the flowers and the punched them out with the Blossom Punch. I punched Cork circles with the 3/4″ circle punch. The flowers are glued on with hot glue and there are two on each stick.
The tag is Crumb Cake distressed with the Tea Stain from the Distressing Kit. I hand cut it, very simple really. I punched another circle in half for the top. The bow is a ripped strip of Timeless Portrait Designer Fabric and the tag is tied on with white twine. Way easy!
I hot glued the sticks to the edge of the jar to keep them in place. Some of them are free standing in the middle.
Today’s project was made for the challenge at the Color Q this week!
I’ll be crafting through the super bowl today! I’m take full advantage of the time while everyone else is occupied! Yay! Come back this evening for this weekend’s scrapbook page!
