Sunday Funday

Not! I have the Sunday Blues today… After 10 days off, I have to go back to work tomorrow. Boo! But, I am so lucky to have spent many many hours in my scrap room over the last 10 days. So, this week, i have lots to show you!

Starting today, I made a card using the awesome colors from the Play Date Cafe and the fabulous sketch from Paper Pal Arts.

I pulled out the sewing machine from Sew Suite. I love this stamp! I hope it finds a permanent place in next years catty. I stamped the sewing machine on the Whisper White. It was easy to align since it is clear mounted. Then, I stamped them on the DSP (or pattern paper.) I cut them out and layered them on the WW. You can see things that would be to hard to cut out, like the bobbin and the needle, show through from what was stamped on the WW. This is called paper piecing and is a fun way to jazz up an image.

Stamps: Sew Suite, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink and paper: Cherry Cobbler, Elegant Eggplant, More Mustard, all those colors DSp from Regal Stack, Whisper White
Other: Eyelet Border Punch, Crimper, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Designer Button, thread
I have a new class planned for April. I will post details later this week, so stay tuned! Have a Marvelous Monday (ha-ha!) 😉
