Sunny Splash

Hello everyone! I am SO excited about this week’s Facebook Friday. I’ll be featuring the Sunny Splash stamp set- one of my favs. If you didn’t know, the 2022 Stampin’ Up incentive trip was supposed to be this week. It was a Caribbean Cruise. It was canceled because of Covid. So, I’ve been bummed all week, missing that beautiful Caribbean sun. But, I’ve made it sunny in my studio and I’d love to hare it with you.

It’s not Friday yet, but I still have a little preview project to get you ready for tomorrow. I saw a vintage beach poster online and it had a great sun set in the back. I wanted to recreate it with Blending Brushes. I used Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie. I then embossed it with In To The Clouds Embossing Folder. Can you see those cute little clouds in the background? I really like that folder.

For the focal point, I pulled out the Waves of the Ocean Bundle. I stamped the wave in Bermuda Bay on a Basic White Stylish Shape circle. I added a white wave cut out to it as well. I stamped the adorable suit in Starry Sky and stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie. I added a Crumb Cake lattice piece and an Early Espresso palm tree (both from the Palms Dies.) Lastly, I added a Linen Thread bow behind the suit.
