Stitched Stocking

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today I have the first in a series featuring the Stitched Stocking Bundle. I asked during last week’s Facebook Friday for ideas. My mojo has been pretty low and I didn’t even know where to start for this week. So lots of you suggested this bundle and I’m so glad you did! Thank you for the help. I hope you like what I’ve come up with this week!

For today’s card, I didn’t use the stocking dies. Don’t worry, I’ve got two projects using them tomorrow! I wanted to create a card with the other dies in the set! This bundle has some really fun quilting dies. I used the tree stitched square for my starting point. I cut it out of Bubble Bath and Barely Blush Cardstock pieces. I then cut it out again twice from Garden Green Cardstock. Using Detail Scissors, I snipped out the tree from the Garden Green pieces and adhered it to the pink pieces. Last, I cut out the trees from the A Stitched Season DSP and added those with Dimensionals. The card base is Misty Moonlight and the notebook print paper is from the Everyday Essentials DSP. The sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The triangles were cut from Misty Moonlight DSP. Lastly, I added a few Misty Moonlight Dots.

Inside, I added a piece of Basic White Cardstock, a strip of the Misty Moonlight DSP and another DSP tree.

5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ Misty Moonlight Cardstock
4″ X 5 1/4″ DSP and Basic White Cardstock
1 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ DSP
