Hello everyone! I am so excited to kick off our Spring Break Craft Along today! You can see previous days here: Day 1.
All projects will feature either the Ocean Friends or Year of Flowers Bundle. We’re also using the Friends of the Ocean and Timeless Plaid DSPs, Neutral Matte Dots, Dots for Days, Peach Pie Ribbon and White 1/4″ Ribbon.
Each day, I will post a new video showing you how to make two projects as well teach a brand new technique. At the end, you will have a total of ten brand new projects to inspire you! My goal is to post them here and on Youtube each day at 2:00 pm CST. I might have them up earlier in the day, I just wanted to give myself a little wiggle room in case I have any technical problems. On Friday, my projects will be live over on Facebook, but as always, I’ll post them here after the live is over.
Today’s card features the Emboss Resist technique. When you heat emboss images, the heat set ink resists the ink. So, it creates a popped out white image among an inked background! So fun! We’re using both bundles today, this card uses the Friend of the Ocean Bundle.
My second project is a really clever hexagon box. It also holds a small terra-cotto pot like this one, but I didn’t find one, so I used a 5″ X 7″ cello bag filled with these flower candies (affiliate.)
