Hello everyone! Today, I’m kicking off my Spooky Halloween series. I LOOOOVE Halloween projects! I am not a spooky, scary Halloween girl. I’m more cute pumpkins, fun black cats and of course lots of candy!! And this year’s Halloween Suite is exactly that- all treats and no scary tricks!
To start things off, I’ve got a trio of cute kitties! My daughter just got a kitten and I am in love with him! So, of course now, I want all the kitty things! This image was stamped three times with Memento Black- on Basic Beige, Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate. I then used Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Petunia Pop, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to color them. I added a few white details with a White Gel Pen. I cut them all out with the matching die and popped them up with Dimensionals on a Basic Black Perennial Postage Rectangle. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and Heat Embossed with White Embossing Powder. The card base is Smokey Slate and has two pieces of the Spooky Sweet DSP. I also added a Petunia Pop ribbon around the smaller piece.
Inside I added a piece of Basic White, another strip of Spooky Sweet DSP and I popped out one of the Spooky Sweet die cuts form the DSP pack and popped that up with a Dimensional. After all that coloring on the front, I wanted something easy!
