Simply Sparkling

Hello everyone! So, as I explained yesterday, I had planned on featuring the Simply Sparking set this week for Facebook Friday. But, it sold out this week! I’ve decided to go ahead and share my projects, but cancel today’s Facebook Friday. So sorry! If you already have the Simply Sparkling stamp set, these projects are for you! If you don’t own it, the dies are still available, or you could sub out something else you already have. Make sure to check out yesterday’s project here.

For today’s card, I created a cherry soda! This set has both stamps and dies of a variety of fruit! The cherries are the cutest! Ok, maybe the peach it the cutest… I can’t decide! But, I decided to go with cherries because I also wanted to use some new patterned paper coming out next week i(Sept 4) called Take A Bow. It’s Christmas paper, but, look, it doesn’t have to be!!

I stamped the can on Real Red Cardstock. I used Real Red and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to color the cherries. I used the heart die from Wonderful Thoughts dies to cut a White Glimmer paper heart or the front. And Silver Foil is perfect for the top, bottom and pull tab. Make sure to an use Adhesive Sheet on the back of your paper first. It makes adhere that pull tab so much easier.

And of course, you want to carry the design over to the inside too!
