Hello everyone and welcome back! As I have told you in the past, I’m really trying to include fun goodies in each of my Class To Go Kits. For my recent Greenhouse Garden Class, I needed to make a BUNCH of them, so I had to get creative. I searched for candy (that wouldn’t melt in the heat of spring) and couldn’t find anything! So, I had a burst of inspiration one night while laying in bed… Seed Packets!
I ran to the dollar store and found Zinnias which are one of the flowers in the tutorial. I made simple sleeves to go over them in Calypso Coral. I made them 1/2″ wider than the seed packet, in case you are wondering about measurements. It really depends on the measurement of your seed pack. It was a piece of cardstock, folded in half and stapled on the sides!! So easy!
The tag is stamped in Calypso Coral and Basic Black. That sentiment is from a set I got at On Stage! It will be out in June… Stay tuned!
I didn’t have enough of the Succulent Garden DSP for all the packets, but I also had some Calypso DSP from the subtles paper stack so I used that as well.
Wouldn’t these make great favors? Maybe for a garden wedding or shower? I just love the simplicity and ease in which it takes to make them!! I hope all the class recipients enjoyed the little surprise!! It gets tough in the warmer months finding things that won’t melt while in transit… Seeds are a good choice! LOL!
And here they are in the class packs. I love the way the look all packed up!
