Scrapbook Saturday

Yesterday, My friend Erin posted a page on her blog that I LOVED. I immediately lifted it! LOL! Mine went a little crazy and i couldn’t stop with the squares, but I still like the way it turned out!
I started with a bunch of squares that were 3″. I started with the row in the middle and worked out. It was really hard to get those squares even! Then, I added some white strips to create this argyle effect.

I saw this quote on Pinterest, and made it into a title. I printed the words on my computer and the cut the word mountain out on my Big Shot.

I added some journaling on the side shaped like a flag.

My pictures were 4″ squares.and I added Pool Party DSP on the corners. I finished them off with Rhinestone Brads.

I really like how setting the photos on the diagonal gave the page a different feel. Very different!

So there you have it! It was fun to make and I love the way this funky layout turned out!
I used the colors from this week’s Color Q as inspiration!
