I had so much fun with today’s page! I played with the new (Sneak Peek) paper called Summer Smooches (available on in April 2012, details to come!) I loooove new paper!
I stated out by segmenting my background paper using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. Then, I did the same thing with the DSP pages. I cut one “segment” from each piece DSP and adhered them onto the CS base in a kind of pin wheel pattern. I then sewed down each edge of DSP with my sewing machine. I also stamped a few flowers from the Summer Smooches set as well on the pieces of CS that you can see.
I then created a little banner using the sprinkled expression stamp set (free for only 2 more weeks!). I then used my star die to punch a bunch of different stars out of the DSP. I sprinkled them down from the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a little Basic Jewel to each one as well. Last, I stamped a few sentiments from the Hostess Set and cut them into tiny banners as well.
And there you have it! Pretty simple for a pretty busy look.
