Scrapbook Club- May Bluebonnets

This month’s Scrapbook Clubs will be doing a layout that features our state flower, The Bluebonnet! Every spring, every Texan drags their children into overgrown fields to get pictures like thisShe looks like she loves sitting in all that doesn’t she! 🙂 But, its a Texas tradition! So, needless to say, every year I am looking for a new way to scrap my many Bluebonnet pictures!

So, this year, I though the Two Step Bird Punch wing might just make a pretty bluebonnet punch art!

We also used the “Poppin Pastels” technique to make a field of bluebonnets. We stamped one of the trees from the Trendy Trees stamp set in Versa Mark. We then rubbed over them with a sponge and a blue chalk pastel. It is a fun technique to try!

The paper we used is the Blueberry Crisp DSP. It was perfect!

Today is the first day of the Summer Mini. I love, love, love this mini! I love summer, therefore everything in here is super fun! Make sure you check it out it you haven’t!
