Happy Saturday and Happy September!! I love September! The end of the brutal heat (well, towards the end of the month anyway around here!) and my birthday! It’s one of my favorite times of year!
Every month, Stampin’ Celebration posts a new challenge on the 1st. This month, were making the switch to Fall. I’m reading for the change! Are you?
The thing that jumped out to me immediately from the inspiration was the jars. Yep, you know what that means! I again pulled out my favorite set of all time: Perfectly Preserved!
I stretched the jar out, by folding the paper a few times when I stamped it. When I opened it up, I drew the side lines with the matching Stampin’ Marker.
I also used the new Autumn Accents Die. It’s so beautiful! It also coordinates with the stamp set I used, Wonderfall.
I used the Masking Technique to create the overlapping leaves. To overlay, you stamp the image on a post it note, cut it out and cover the first stamped image before you stamp again. It’s super easy and creates an interesting look.
And, I also used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The ribbon is the 7/8″ Cotton Ribbon. I cut off both long edges to create a fringed look.
Ink and Paper: More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Staz On Black, DSP Stacks
