I did alot of searching around for chevron tutorials and I ended up making you one. Check the bottom of the post for it!
The title of my page “Always Wear Your Invisible Crown” was inspired by a quote I saw on Pinterest. in fact, I have started an entire board devoted to scrapbooking titles! I always struggle coming up with something clever, so now I have a pretty good resource! The title was typed on the computer and printed on cardstock.
I stamped the little crown using the new Silver Pen from the Seasonal Catalog onto a Window Sheet. Added a little bling, and there you have it!
This wonderful stamp is part of a set we got at Convention. It’s an exclusive to convention goers.
The machine stitching took some time, but was definitely worth the look I ended up with.
A little flag helps provide a journaling spot!
Stamps: Artistic Etchings, I Am..
1. cut your strip of paper 2″ X 12″. Draw a line horizontaly 1″ all the way across. Using your ruler, carefully draw a line from the top at 1″ to the mid line. Next, very carefully draw a line from the bottom to the midline at 2″. Repeat this pattern all the way down. Useing your Paper Snips, or a very fine point scissors. Snip each verticle line taking extra care not to snip past the mid line or not snipping entirely to the midline. both will cause your chevorn to not be crisp.
2. Using your Bone Folder, fold each corner to the oposite side toward the mid line.
3. Add a bit of adhesive under each flap. Really make sure these folds are crisp, so use that bone folder!
4. This is what it will look like once they are all folded down. This is the back side.

Thank you sooooo much for posting on how to make chevron strips!!! Your method is so much easier and prettier than what I've been doing (square punches). I loved your extra step of stitching the paper…NICE. I check your blog every day…thanks for sharing your ideas and talent;)
