Round of Applause Graduation Card

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share a very special card I made for my daughters best friend. She graduated from high school yesterday! Sara and Ellie have been best friends for the better part of their entire life. We’ve watched them grow up together, playing in the cul de sac when they were little, squealing over bands in middle school, and now, supporting each other through boyfriend drama and college decisions. Sara is very special to us and we are so very proud of her!
When I saw the Round of Applause stamp set in the new catalog, I knew it would be perfect for Sara’s card. She graduated from a local medical magnet school and their colors are Navy and Maroon. I used Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler for her card. I used the Navy DSP from the Neutrals DSP stack

I embossed the image in Gold Embossing Powder on a Whisper White Circle. I stamped the little cap in Night of Navy, cut it out and popped it on top with a Dimensional. I used a Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend Marker to color the Gold Trimmed Vanilla Ribbon. The scallop border die is from the Peony Dies and the stitching above the scallop was created with the die from the Happy Dies

And on the inside, I stamped the cap and the “you’d it” sentiment up and down the side. A special card, with lots of details, for a very special friend!
