Rockin’ Thanks

Melon Mambo is my favorite color. I love it. I was so very happy when SU kept it as a core color. Its the perfect girl color! I used it this week for a Grunge Rock card. It is the color I chose for LeAnnes Monochromatic challenge at The Paper Players. You just can’t have too much Melon Mambo!

The paper? Thats the Presto Patters DSP. It comes embossed already and you rub what ever color you want on it and the embossed part resisit the ink. I loved this design for this card. It looks like a guitar I thought!

I also used my stick and heat powder, stuck with Vera Mark ink, to cover my piece with Dazzling Diamonds. Yummy! I punched it out with the little star punch.

I did the same thing again, this time on the Melon Mambo cardstock and punched out the Modern Label Punch.

I also used this sketch from Staming 411. I strayed a little, but the concept is the same…

  2. You know… the pink Presto paper is fabulous. Love the stars and the bling. Such a creative use of the sketch, too. I love the fact that you blinged up the star and the back of the sentiment. There are so many great details on this card that I found myself looking again and again!
So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
