Hello all! I hope you had a nice weekend! The final countdown is on!! We leave for Spain in just four more sleeps! Eek! I have so much to do!
In the meantime, I am sharing a sneak peek with you today. Both of these cards feature a new Hostess set from the upcoming Occasions catalog called Pun Intended.
The first one was a card we made for my oldest daughter’s favorite teacher. He’s a guy, so it had to be masculine. That’s so hard for me! Anyhow, I think it turned out great. I also used the new Playful Palette DSP. It’s so fun!
One thing I did to the camera in both cards is to stamp it three times and punch out the lens with both 3/4″ and 1″ circle punches and stacked them with Dimensional. It take the already cute image up a notch, don’t you think?
The next card I created is a masculine birthday card for my dad. He turned 70 last week! What!? Anyhow, I think this old camera was perfect for a 70th Birthday! I really like the line of dots in this set. I used it in two different corners and it really helped to finish off the card nicely.
And from this angle, you can really see those stacked lens! I love it! I also added a tad bit of the new Emerald Envy ribbon folded behind the circle. This DSP is from the same DSP stack.
