Hey everybody! Welcome back! Today, I’ve got another great Pretty Pumpkins project for you. You know, I had planned on doing a class with this bundle. But, time kind of got away from me, and by the time I realized it, the class wouldn’t get to your mailbox until Thanksgiving and I know were already on to Christmas by then. So, we’ll just celebrate it all week here on my blog!
Today’s project is a 3D! It’s a simple box that holds a Pecan Spinwheel. I’d never seen these Little Debbie snacks before, but received one by accident in my grocery delivery! So, I figured the universe was telling me to use it! If you want to find them, check out the Little Debbie Snack Finder.
I decided to pull in the Misty Moonlight printed DSP from the Harvest Meadow DSP Pack. My mother always taught me that orange was on the opposite side of the color wheel from blue and they looked really good together! Well, maybe that was yellow, but orange is right next to yellow! Anyhow, I was using Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze to color my pumpkins so I knew it would look good on the color DSP! If you’d like to make one yourself, check out the video below.
Measurements:
5 1/2″ X 6 1/2″ Soft Suede Cardstock, score all four sides at 1 1/2″
3 3/4″ X 4 1/2″ DSP, score at 1/2″ on all four sides
