PPA45 and DCBD179

Just in the nick of time! I can’t lett a Paper Pal Arts Challenge go by with out doing it! I love their challenges, and this weeks was ni excetion. It’s an inspiratio challenge including greens and orange with black. Not something I would have sat down and pulled out on my own, but I lov eit! And, Iused a fantastic sketch from Diva Coffee Break Designs.

Isn’t that ribbon the cutest! I love this thick striped ribbon. I hear its coming out in more colors in the new catty that should be arriveing today at my doorstop!! I am dying here!
Stamps: Awash with Flowers, Sweet Little Sentiments (retired Hostess set)
Ink and Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie DSP, Kraft, Close to Cocoa
Other: Pumpkin Pie 1 1/4″ striped grossgrain ribbon, Medium Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, glue dots, distressing tool, Color Spritzer Tool, random pearls from my stash
And, as promised, here are a few more of my weekend layouts…

And, I had to add a close up of the All A Flutter Stamp. It was so perfect for these pictures. I didn’t take it with me, so when I got home, I added it. I stamped it in Staz On on the page and then again on a very vanilla piece. I colored it with blender pens and then cut it out and popped it up a little. It is so pretty! I love this stamp!

On a side note, I had to put my sweet chihuahua Libby down this morning. It was so traumatic. I thought I was prepared, but wow. I cried like a crazy lady. She was our first baby and was 11 years old. She lived a long life and it was time for her to go to Heaven. I think I need to dig out some pictures and scrap a page about her. She was a sweet furry friend that kind of got pushed to the side with the arrival of all our real babies. But, none the less, she will be greatly missed. I think scrapping about her will be wonderful therapy…

Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow!
