Bermuda Bay has been a favorite color this year for me. I will be sad to see it retire at the end of the month. The other two colors in this week’s Paper Pal Arts Challenge are just…I don’t know, eh! But, together, I think the go pretty well together!
I got the idea for this card from one of those free idea flyers that come to your house. Its junk mail basically, trying to sell you something. But, I always look through it just to make sure I’m not missing anything fantastic! The card itself was ugly, but the idea of a missing image was what I took. And, out of all my stamps, I have no “Miss You” sentiment! So, I made my own!
Stamps: Artistic Etchings, Rough Type
Ink and Paper: Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry
Other: 1 1/4″ Square Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Match Box Die (for the tag), Big Shot, new texture folder called Vintage Wallpaper (I think! I’m out of town with no catty!), random pearls.
Were at the beach this weekend, and I have spotty internet access. I already have some things scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, but for today, I’m lucky to get this much, so no layouts today!
Thanks for stopping by!
Great background – great texture – and I love the missing "link"! Enjoy the beach lucky girl! Thanks for joining us at PPA!
Very pretty! Clever symbolism and effective use of the challenge colors! Thanks for playing @ PPA!
