Today’s On the Farm card features real Chicken Wire! I used to use Chicken Wire in my scrapbooking so when I saw this set I knew I wanted to bring it back!
Today’s card is a regular 4″ X 11″ Balmy Blue card base with a 4′ X 5 1/4″ piece of So Saffron behind a 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″ piece of the Day At The Farm DSP. I cut two other pieces of the DSP and layered them on the left side. Next, I created the little farm scene by stamping two chickens and two silos. I used a Blender Pen for the Chicken and a Stampin’ Blend for the silos. The dirt was stamped and die cut from Kraft paper. I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink on a white oval from the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies and added a Balmy Blue & White Ribbon.
The Chicken Wire I bought is from Amazon. You can find it here (affiliate.) It actually comes with wire snips and gloves. I don’t really think you need the gloves, but the wire snips are great! I used Dimensionals behind the circle to hold the wire in place.
Since I have so much of this Designer Series Paper and it’s FREE, I cut another 4″ X 5 1/4″ piece and put inside behind a 3 1/4″ X 4 1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock.
