October Club Create Prep- Sweet Little Stockings

Hello everyone! I’d like to share this month’s Club Create kits and tell you about next month’s kits! Each month, my Club Create members receive a kit in the mail with 5 projects and about $20 in brand new product.

October’s Club Create was centered around the Sweet Little Stockings Bundle from the Holiday catalog. The kit included 1/2 a pack of DSP, 1 pack of Matte Dots and a bold of Gold Ribbon as well as five projects and tutorials. Each month, the PDFs also include a video showing how to make the projects. Every month, I set aside a whole week for Club Create prep. It’s a huge undertaking! I cut each individual project and then start the sorting.

I have a great industrial paper cutter which makes cutting all the pieces and card bases pretty easy. The die cuts do take quite a bit of time however. This month, my daughter once again helped me cut some of them. Once everything is cut, I start the sorting. I sort one project at a time and bag them individually either in a cello bag or envelope.

Every month, my Club Create members not only get five projects, but around $20 in new consumable product. June’s kit included 1/2 pack of the Plentiful Plants DSP, a pack Paper Lattice, and five bolt of twine! Some of the product is used on their projects, but they have lots left over to use on other projects.

Each kit also includes a little handmade thank you tag as a thank you from me. It always features the bundle we’re using in the kit.

Once I have everything sorted and organized, it’s time to pack the kits. This takes me several hours. I go down a pick line, kind of like in the SU warehouse! It’s so satisfying to me to see all the projects ready to go!

Once the kits are all safely packed in cello bags, it’s time to print the labels and put them in their envelopes.

I ship all the kits in USPS Priotiryt Flat Rate Padded envelope. This seems to be the safest and fastest way to get them to their new homes. Plus, they have tracking and insurance.

And once they are all ready for pick up, I can breath a sigh of relief and start designing for next month’s Club Create! It really is the most fun thing I do every month. Lots of work, but such s labor of love that I am very proud of.

November’s Club Create will feature the Whimsical Trees Bundle. Unfortunately, I have closed subscriptions for Club Create for a little while. I have reached the maximum number of kits I can physically do. I may open it up right before the deadline next month if I have some people drop out. But, for now, you can find it here in my PDF store.

In order to receive that month’s Club Create Kit, you have to be subscribed by the 7th of the month. Club Create kits will ship on or before the 20th of each month.
