Hello everyone and welcome back! I completely forgot about a card I shared during last week’s Facebook Friday (find it here)! I showed it and mentioned I would have it on my blog on Monday. Well, mom brain or something, I posted a different card (also a fun card you can see here.) So, without further adieu, I would like to show you my fancy, a little over the top, sixth Let’s Set Sail card!

This is one of those cards you would make for someone special. It has lots of pieces and I’m not sure I’d want to make 100 of them! To start, I just googled Nautical flags. I have no idea what they mean, but we’re just going for a fun flag background! Then, I started cutting Night of Navy, Real Red and Daffodil Delight Cardstock to match! Each rectangle is 2″ wide and 1 1/2″ tall. I made 8 different flags and adhered them to a 4′ X 5 1/4″ piece. The didn’t all fit, so I trimmed the top one in half.
I cut a 3″ X 4 1/4″ Vellum Stitched Rectangle and adhered it with Dimensionals (under the white rectangle.) I stamped the the sentiment on a 1 3/4″ X 3 3/4″ Basic White Stitched Rectangle. The little Soft Suede rope is from the Smooth Sailing Dies. Last, I punched the sailboat from Night of Navy Cardstock and added a Real Red Stitched Heart (Give It A Whirl Dies.)
I’ll be back tomorrow with two new classes for April! I am so excited to show you what I have planned!
