Every time I say the word Monochromatic, I think of THIS movie scene. Ha! I love Madagascar!
I went with Rel Red as my main color. Now, I did throw in a little black… oh and maybe a little orange too.. but, what else am I going to use? We can’t have a red carrot, now can we! 🙂
This little guy is so cute! He is like “build you own snowman.” I will admit though, I did have some placement trouble with his scarf… This was the best of three attempts… Next time, he will be wearing the tiny bow tie!
The gorgeous ribbon was made from the Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric. I ripped off a section and tied a bow. I finished it off with a big chunky (retired) button. Oh, and the best part of this card (IMO!) is the gingham background created by inking the stripes folder and running your card stock through twice! My favor tie thing to do with an embossing folder-EVAH!!
Now, get busy, make something mono for us and hop back over to HSS and show us your stuff!
Have a great Tuesday!
