Good morning everybody!! It’s Friday, wahoo!! I know everyone loves Friday, but now that I work at home, I don’t like Friday’s… I like my Monday thru Friday quiet while the kids are at school… Ha!
Anyhow, it’s also time for Stamp Club! We meet once a month and my club ladies get to make three projects.
The first project is a choice: either the scrapbook page or the card, both using the same stamps. I started offering a choice here because I realized that so many people didn’t want to do a page. So, now, I offer a choice and both my scrapbookers and card makers are happy!
This month we focused on Sheltering tree. I couldn’t let the Occasions Catalog go out without having them play with this set. It is so fun to make a little scened using all the stamps. You feel like you’ve painted a picture!
We also used the Fringe Scissor, the From the Garden Thinlits and the Hello You Thinlits along with the Crazy About You stamps. I planned this project well before I saw the new catalog, but guess what? It’s all carrying over to the NEW annual catalog! Hooray!
The next project is always a card. I worked really hard for these next two projects to feature some of my favorite retiring products. The Dictionary Background stamp is probably my number #1 love on the list. I use it a lot! We also used the Word Bubble Framelits, Just Sayin’ Stamp Set, Brights DSP Stack, Itty Bitty Heart Punch (not retiring!) and the Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine. Isn’t this a fun card? I love these colors!
And lastly, our third project is always some sort of “3D” item. This month, we made a simple little chocolate holder featuring a framelit from the retiring Apothecary Accents set. We also used the Modern Mosaic stamps and punch and Chalk Talk stamp set along with the coordinating Large Oval Punch.
