Lustrous Leaves Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! Today, I have a bunch of sneak peeks for you! We have a new catalog coming out on September 1st, which is Tuesday! Today’s card features the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies and Masks. There isn’t a stamp set in this bundle- it includes Hot Foil Dies, regular dies and masks.

Stampin’ Up has a new Hot Foil System. I’ve done several posts talking about this new system and you can see the here. These leaf dies are designed for the Hot Foil Machine. I chose to use Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie and Golden Glow Two Toned Cardstock, alon with both Copper and Gold Hot Foil. Once I had hot foiled each piece, I used the same colors of ink, Blending Brushes and the masks to add colors to each leaf. Lastly, I used the regular die cuts to cut them out.

The background piece is Basic White Cardstock run through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Softly Woven Embossing Folder (also coming out Sept 1.) I added the scattered leaves image to this piece using the same masks, Crumb Cake ink and a Blending Brush. The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Soiree Salutations. Lastly, I added a few new Gold Adhesive Backed Embellishments. Inside the card, I added more of the leaves on a Basic White piece that is matted on Crumb Cake Cardstock. Just a reminder- almost everything shown on this card is going to be released on September 1st!
