Hello everyone! Well, I think I can say… I’m back! It’s been a very long, hot and exhausting three weeks. My studio is functional, although not pretty yet! I’ve still got a corner of “stuff” that I don’t quite know what to do with or can find the energy to tackle. I’ll get to it eventually…. Thanks for all your kind words on Facebook. It’s been SO MUCH fun setting up my dream studio and dream house. These last few days, all I have wanted to do is crawl into bed. I think it’s all finally caught up with me and my body needs to rest.
But, before I do that, I’m ready to restart Facebook Friday! This week I will be focusing on the adorable set called Little Dreamers. Now, I have to warn you all, I have a new set up- new equipment and new internet. So, it may take me a few weeks to get all the kinks worked out and I ask for your patience. I feel pretty good about my set up, but we all know technology can be persnickety!
For this fun card, I started with one of our new core colors- Lemon Lolly. I cut the edge of a 4″ X 5 1/4″ piece with the notebook paper edge die from the Gorgeously Made Dies. I inked the edges with a Blending Brush and Lemon Lolly ink. I stamped and colored the little chipmunk and stars in Memento Black. I used Lemon Lolly and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to color them. I cut them out with matching dies and added them with Mini Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Pebbled Path on a Basic White Stylish Shape stitched Banner. I cut some tiny stars from Gold Foil. Lastly, I added a Gold and Vanilla Satin Trimmed Ribbon bow.
This week’s Facebook Friday will also feature the Little Dreamers Bundle. You’ll want to make sure to join me on Friday , July 14 at 2:00 pm CST live on Facebook.
