This week at The Color throwdown, the main color is lime green? What? I generally steer clear of anything that is lime green! Bu, the design team’s challenges were so beautiful, I had to give it a try! And, I am so glad I did! I also used this super fun sketch from Paper Pal Arts. I always love sketches with stacked images!

My picture doesn’t really give the lime the justice it deserves. it really pops off the card.

Stamps: Fabulous Florets
Ink and paper: Basic Grey, Basic Black, Lime Green (don’t know the name!), Wild Wasabi DSP, Newsprint, Versamark
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Stampin Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today. Tomorrow, I will start my week long feature of the stamps on sale this month for SU’s celebration of National Scrapbook Month! See you then!
Love the green against the newsprint! Very cute!
I think it might be gable green. Lol, I have a TON of that color left over from eons ago!
What a beautiful way to use these colors! I'm so glad you tried the combo and ended up liking it! Thanks for playing along in the Color Throwdown with us!
So glad you liked the sketch, Erica! Love your card! I love the lime green and the floral images against the newsprint patterned paper! Thanks for sharing!
