Just Add Critters!

This week at Just Add Ink, the challenge is to “Just Add Critters!” How fun! I’ve been loving these punch art reindeer I am seeing around the web, so I made a little stable for them and threw a few eager reindeer in!
My reindeer are made using the Two Step Owl Punch for the head, nose and eyes. Their antlers are from the snowflake punch. I added a little detail with my white pen.

The stable wood was made using the woodgrain background stamp. I stamped it on Crumb Cake and just cut strips and chopped them at different angles on the end. I drew the nails with my Stampin’ Write Marker (Early Espresso.)

The wreath was fun! I used a couple of circle punches to make a ring. I think it was the 1 3/4″ and 1 3/8″. Then I punched a bunch of snowflake punches in Wild Wasabi. I cut off the ends and glued them on the ring. The berries are the tiny left over hearts that land on your desk when you use your Pinking Heart Border Punch! I added some Crystal Effects to make them shiny! The bow is the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.
Thanks for stoping by and have a fabulous Sunday!

  2. Wow! This is brilliant! I feel so daft… I stared and stared at it thinking "How on earth did she get that shape for the reindeer's heads??" *blush* Gorgeous!

  3. This is such a cute way to use the owl punch at this time of the year – now all we need is the snowflake punch!! Cute critters for this week's challenge.
