Jolly Holly

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday. I am home for a couple of days before we head to Lubbock to move daughter #2 to college. I do have a Christmas card to share with you today featuring the Jolly Holly Bundle I showcased during the Christmas in July Craft Along Series.

This bundle is very unique. It has a die that cuts out just parts of the cardstock. It doesn’t cut out the holly leaves completely, just parts of them. It creates a very unique textured look for your card front. The die also sits down into an embossing folder to create even more texture. You can actually do the embossing and cutting in one swipe! So, I decided to make poinsettias from Real Red Cardstock, not holly leaves. I think it creates a really beautiful look! I did run the embossing folder and die through again with a Mossy Meadow piece. I used my scissors to cut some of those leaves out and tuck into the flowers. I added a few Low Profile Sparkle Dots to create the flower centers. Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Real Red on one of the Basic White stitched rectangles (same bundle) and stamped, colored and cut out the bells as well.
