Jar of Love Gel/Water Card Technique Video Tutorial

Hello everyone! I am SO EXCITED about today’s project! I am again using my very favorite stamp set, Jar of Love. I have created a fun interactive card that you (and the recipient) will flip over!
I have to give a shout out to my downline Jana. She brought a card to our last team meeting that used this technique. We all couldn’t stop playing with it! I’ve had it sitting on my desk ever since because I wanted to create my own card using the Gel Water technique. It’s a super simple concept- hair gel! Yep, that’s right, good old hair gel found at your local grocery store.
This card has huge dimension. I would never mail it because I’m not sure how it would travel throught the mail system. It’s defiantly a “hand deliver” gem and I love this one so much, I don’t know if I can give it away. I’ll hand deliver it to my husband maybe, then take it back. Ha!

I also used the Hardwood background stamp to create a background for this little fish in a jar.
And on the inside, I did a little bit of stamping, creating a little whimsy to go along with the message. I didn’t show this in the video, but I did want to point out that I used a pencil eraser as a stamp to create the Marina Mist bubbles.
OK, you have to check out this video. You will love making these kinds of cards!
