It’s a Tie!

I LOVE this new set called Best Dad Ever because it has 5 adorable ties! They are easy to use and are easy to cut out, which is a plus! I took this week’s Paper Pal Arts masculine colors and put them to good use with this stamp set!
I also used this sketch from Stamping 411 and made it a gate fold card! Fun!

I wanted to incorporate a few retiring things so that I can show my Stamp Clubs just how wonderful they are! The spiral Punch is my #1 favorite thing on the list. I use it a lot, especially on my scrapbook page! I thought it fit well in the masculine theme.

The card is a standard size piece of cardstock cut in half (4 1/4″ X 11″) and scored at 3″ and 8 1/2″.

Added another cute little tie on the inside!

The gears come from Sense of Time set.

Stamps: Sense of Time, Best Dad Ever

Ink and Paper: Whisper White, More Mustard, Night of Navy (DSP stack), Cherry Cobbler. I used my Stampin‘ Write Markers to color the ties.

Other: Vintage Trinkets, Night of Navy 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Piercer

I also wanted to let you know about a fun Blog Hop coming up this weekend! I am once again thrilled to be designing for U Stamp With Dawn and Friends! And the best part this time- FREE! Yep, you know, my favorite word!

This is going to be a fabulous hop featuring the talented designers from UStamp! Dawn came up with a fun idea for a hop with FREE PDF’s for all projects posted. Hop begins June 10th and runs through June 12. I am in love with my project! I having been chomping at the bit to share it with you! I’ll give you a hint; Suntan Lotion. 🙂 That’s all I’m gonna say..

Make sure you look for the fun on Friday!!
