Impressions Abloom Window Front Card

Hello everyone! Welcome back! I’ve got a fun card to share with you today that is actually a CASE of a card I created last Friday. This time, it uses the Impressions Abloom Bundle.

Last Friday, I created this Window Front card using the Turtle-y Awesome Bundle… and I’m kind of obsessed with this card design now! I want to make it in lots of different color combos using different stamps and dies! It’s so easy- you start with a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ piece of DSP, score it at 1″ on the short side and then adhere a 4″ X 5 1/4″ Window Sheet behind the 1″ front flap. That’s it! Then you just start decorating! Check out the video I have here for the tutorial. It’s a great way to get sone use out of your Designer Series Paper. I love how it shows off both sides of the patterns.

For today’s card, I used the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper as my starting point. I used the color sin the paper, Fresh Freesia and Old Olive, as well as Blackberry Bliss an as accent color, to stamp and cut out the flowers and the leaves. The flowers are actually stamped in Fresh Freesia Ink on Fresh Freesia Cardstock. You get a really bold look when you do tone on tone stamping, which I love. Oh, I also used Secret Sea to cut out the flower centers. I cut two Fresh Freesia Textured Notes Rectangles for the front and inside of the window. Lastly, I added a few Starburst Sequins and a White Bow.

Here is the inside view. I added a basic White Textured Note Rectangle and stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink.
