One of my very BFFs has a birthday in August. She is a teacher too and always talks about how her birthday gets passed over every year because she and everyone else is so busy. Well, guess who passed her over this year… ME! And, whats worse? I was at her house for THREE HOURS on her birthday doing the Jr High project and never said a word. I am a big, fat JERK!!! I was so upset when I realized it the next day. So, off to make her a special card and a boat load of pink cake pops….
I used Paper Players Challenge color combo and Stampin 411 sketch for her card.
Stamps: Easy Events
Ink and Paper: Delicate Doilies DSP, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Melon mambo, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Other: Scalloped Dots Ribbon, Seam Binding, Satin Ribbon, Big Shot, Tasteful trims Die, Large oval punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Blender Pen, Word Window Punch
And because I felt so bad, I had to do some special stuff inside too! Hope she forgives me….
Thanks for stopping by!

I am sure you are NOT a terrible friend, and if she thought you were, this and the cake pops would be sure to redeem you! Thanks for playing with us this week, too!
I** am sure she will love the card and be thrilled to get it! Really like how you combined the patterns! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!
Yeah, you'd better make a pretty special card you big "not-nice-friend". KIDDING! This is adorable, Erica and I'm sure it was well received. Cake pops, huh? Yum! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players this week.
August birthdays are the worst! Mine was on the 8th and everyone is just too busy, even myself! Plus I always forget my August birthday friends too! Don't worry, it's not just you! I'm sure she will LOVE your belated gift. Belated is still better than forgotten!
What a cute card! And such a great use of this weeks colours! Thanks for playing along with the Paper Players this week!
