HSS #86- It’s Halloween Time!

Finally a Halloween challenge! I’ve been using my Halloween stuff for weeks just itching for a Halloween challenge! Yay! This week Hand Stamped Sentiments rolls out the Halloween orange carpet for all us over achievers!

I bought this paper mache hat from a local craft store in the summer. It has been sitting on my shelf for months. Then, recently, i found some cute witchy glass bottles and decided to make a witch display at home and knew this hat would be perfect in the  Witch Montage!

I covered the bottom with some Concord Crush colored DSP and then used some left over Presto Patterns (retired) and Concord Crush to cover the top. I gathered yards and yards of Rich Razzleberry Ribbon next and layered it over a purple boa.  I felt like it was missing something, so, I made a tag!

Stamps: Wicked Cool, Jack of All Trades, Good Grid.  Fiber is Concord Crush Poly Ribbon pulled apart.

And here is my display. It looks way better in person. this picture doesn’t really make it look all that great! LOL! It really does flow better in person!

Now get busy makin’ something for Halloween! It’s time to get those decorations out, so why don’t you make something new to add to your house! Make sure you link back with us a HSS so we can see what you come up with!

Happy Stampin’!

  1. Your so creative! I love your Halloween display! Your witch hat is perfect in Concord Crush and Rich Razzleberry. All the elements work so well together to create an elegant witch hat. Very festive!

  2. So flipping cute! Your whole display is great! I have got to get a console table to put stuff on! What a great project!
