I love, love, love our challenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments! We want you to pull out those embossing supplies and “Impress Us!”
I had to do my most favorite technique as of late, inking the striped embossing folder and making gingham! I can’t get enough of this technique! I love gingham and use it a lot in decorating. I am so happy that now I can make it in any pretty SU color I want!
Stamps: Pursuit of Happiness, Extreme Elements
Ink and Paper: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Other: Big Shot, Striped Embossing Folder, Lots of Dots Embossing Folder, Melon Mambo Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Medium Oval Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Scallop Border Punch
Ok ladies- now it’s your turn to IMPRESS US! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I love this!! Great color choice, too!!! So, I have to ask, do you ink the embossing folder or use a brayer?
Love it! I just got this folder and have yet to use it, I have got to try this! I also love the shabby ribbon and how you did the sentiment! Great card!
Love the gingham. I have this folder and have yet to use it. THIS technique might be the thing to do it. Love your color choices too! The pink really pops against the black.
What a great use of the folder and a beautiful card! Love the black and m. mambo together!
I have been dying to get that folder and try this. Love your color combo.
Ooohh, look at that pretty gingham! I still haven't tried that technique but am totally inspired by your fabby color combo! Love how you did the sentiment, too! 🙂
Great color combo! I love the technique for creating the gingham background. Love the sentiment.
