HSS #106- Color Blocking!

Color Blocking. That’s a broad description to me. My original thought is a scrapbook page with large blocks of solid color cardstock. I think that’s kind of old school, yes? So, after a little searching, I am finding that it is defined many different ways.
How do you define Color Blocking? This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments, were asking you to show us!

COLOR BLOCKING on SplitCoastStampers or Stampin’ Connection.
I started doing one thing, but my card took on a life of it’s own. That seems to happen often to me!

The basic background is Regal Rose DSP punched with the 11/4″ square punch. I then went over it with the sewing machine. It’s all on top of a Basic Grey base. The little flower is made from Twiterpated Designer Fabric. I cut it out with the Island Flower Die. The beautiful sentiment is from Loving Thoughts.

So there you have it. Pretty simple. What can you come up with? Make sure you come back over to HSS and show us!
