Hello, Sailor (HSS181)

I was excited to see this week’s colors at Hand Stamped Sentiments matched the High Tide DSP from the Occasions Catalog. I have been itching to put this paper to use! The colors are vivid and bright and really make the card catch your eye!

I’ve been noticing a trend lately- Shakers! Yep, you remember shakers from about 10 years ago, right? I paid big bucks in the craft and scrapbook stores for that one ” just right embellishment” that had little beads or sequins in it. Well, now I know better- make it yourself!!  So I did! this shaker card includes stamps from the Hello, Sailor set as well as confetti I made with Fringe Scissors. I also threw in some clear sequins I had laying around in a drawer. They kind of look like bubbles, don’t ya think?
This “technique” is so fun. The possibilities are endless!
Just think of all the little things you could throw in a shaker!!
In fact, I made another shaker yesterday for my new project planner! Want a little sneak peak?
I can’t wait to show you the rest!! I hope to be done with it by the end of the week!
Ok, back to this week’s challenge- Make sure you hop over to Hand Stamped Sentiments and see what else the other designers have come up with. I hope we inspire you to create something lovely of your own!
