Hats Off and Batters Up Cracker Jack Party Favor

Hello everyone and Happy Memorial Day!It’s a very important day today and I hope everyone takes time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I come from a family of veterans and am married to a veteran. I have the up most respect for all those who have served but especially those who have died in the line of service (and they families!) I feel incredibly blessed to live in a country where freedom is celebrated thanks to those brave men and women!

I also know that this weekend is the official kick off to summer- yay! We spent time at the lake yesterday and will spend time with extended family today celebrating.

Today’s project is a fun party favor that is SUPER simple. It would be fun for a baseball end of season party and to me looks like maybe a 4th of July favor!
On Friday, I showed you three projects using the Hat’s Off Bundle, you can see them here. I have one more for you today. This time, I pulled in this month’s Paper Pumpkin, Batters Up! All I did was wrap Cracker Jack boxes with DSP from the Pattern Party DSP pack and attached a simple tag.

The tag was created by stamping the hat in Real Red on our new Linen Specialty Paper. It looks like fabric, doesn’t it? It stamped beautiful and the die cut cut it out in one pass. I absolutely love the way it looks! The “All Star” image is what comes form the Batters Up Paper pumpkin kit. I out it on my Stamparatus and stamped it in Staz On twice to get a really good solid black image.

I attached the hat to a Metallic Gold Sitched Star with Dimensionals.
I tied the Playful Pets Real red Stitched ribbon around the box and then attached the star/hat stack with dimensionals. Seriously SO simple! You could make a dozen of these for your little baseball team players in NO time!

Don’t forget- if you want last Friday’s make and takes for free, your online order must be submitted by midnight tonight, May 31st. If your order is under $150, you also need to use HoSt Code . I’ll cut and pack those up tomorrow morning and have them in the mail to you in Wednesday.

The Hats Off bundle is $35, which is the exact minimum amount required to earn the free projects. But you don’t have to order that- you can order anything you want! But you will need the Hats Off Bundle to complete the projects.
