Grunge Rock

Yep, I’m gonna say it again today! I love this set! LOL! Today’s card features another card included on Stampin’ Up’s National Scrapbook Month Sale list!

I chose to use the color scheme (RAINBOW) from JUGS today as well as the OCC’s challenge to use a frame!

I love how this card turned out. The black frame was done by cutting two scalloped squares on my Big Shot, tracing the white base on the back, trimming it out and then adhering them together at the correct length. Yea, a little tricky… LOL! But worth it! Doesn’t it look kind of biker-ish?? Like black leather and rhinestones??

I free handed the guitars in rainbow order. I had planned to cut them out, but they were actually really easy to stamp correctly. So I stamped them again and just cut out the base part and popped it up. And, of course, added some more bling!

Stamps: Grunge Rock, Fabulous Phrases

Ink and Paper: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Lovely Lilac, Basic Black

Other: Big Shot, Scallop Square die, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tiny Tag punch, white twine

This was one of the first stamp sets I ordered last year when the new catalog came out. All my samples are actually pretty girly… What can I say, I have three girls!

  2. 🙂 I found this the first time when blogger was having so many issues with comments and then lost it. I just googled "grunge rock stampin up" and looked for a blog with "pink" in the name!
So glad I found it again so I could play with your idea!
