If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen these fun tags I posted a few weeks ago. They were made for my National Scrapbook Day crop. I like to make a little something for each attendant and these were part of their little table gift this time. (More on the crop coming in the next couple of days!)
Here in San Antonio, late April is Fiesta time. 10 days of nonstop parties that celebrate our hispanic heritage and history. Its part of what I love most about my home town and I love making projects with Fiesta in mind. Originally, this crop was supposed to be doing that week, so hence the theme of the crop.
Our local grocery store (HEB) had these really fun plastic Margarita “shot glasses.” I had no idea what I was going to do with them, but I bought a bunch! You can find them here if you want them.
I filled the glasses with a tiny bag of Dove chocolate (that matched the Bermuda Bay ink in the tag!) and tied the tag to the bag.
Here is the finished project. This one has lemon heads in it because I hadn’t found the chocolates yet.
That Hello Honey trim in the middle was inspired by my downline Jackie. She cut the seam off one edge and pulled the threads out. It makes the most adorable fuzzy trim!
Sadly, this stamp, and all Spanish stamps for that matter, have been discontinued. You can still get this individual stamp through the end of the month. It is actually the spanish version of the Watercolor Think You stamp found in the Annual catalog.
