Hey, hey! TGIF! Today marks my second week as a Guest Designer for the Friday Mashup Challenge! I’m having so much fun! What a great way to kick of my weekend!
This week’s challenge is patriotic in nature. Something near and dear to my heart since hubby spent 18 months in Iraq. My oldest daughter’s BFF’s mom is actually in Afghanistan right now. Can you imagine? She is much braver and tougher than me, that’s for sure! So, I think we’ll send this card to her! If you don’t have any need to make a patriotic card, just make something using Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White!
Stamps: Loving Thoughts (was in the Occasions Mini, but is carrying over to the new big catty)
Ink and Paper: Crumb Cake, Newsprint, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, Whisper White.
Other: 1″ Circle Punch, Small Star Punch (retired), Scallop Trim Border Punch, Daffodil Delight grosgrain stitched ribbon (NEW, and I’m in LOVE!), Stampin’ Dimensionals.
We hope you will join us this week!
And, in case you’ve forgotten:

Great card, Erica! I really love the stars with the First Edition backdrop.
Hi Erica, lovely card for this challenge.
Cheers,

Erica, please thank your husband for me, for his service! Thankfully my husband never had to spend 18 months deployed, 7 months was the longest we ever had, but even 1 day is too long when your loved one is deployed! I will also keep your daughters BFF's mom in my thoughts!
This is a wonderful card! I love how the circles hightlight the stars and how you placed the newsprint DSP. Just lovely!
This is a fantastic card! Great combo of shapes…and I love how the ecolors POP on the crumb cake!
God bless your loved ones for their heroic service!
This came out great.. I love what you did with the circles and the Stars and how you used the challenge Colors! We are excited to have you as guest Designer this month.
Beautiful card, Erica!
