I love me a good sketch challenge! I was so happy when I went to work on this week’s Friday Mash Up challenge and saw this great sketch!
So here is the “Mashup” Challenge:
- Make a project with “the Sketch.”
- Or Make a project w/ a “flower or multiple flowers”
- Or “Mash it Up” and create a project w/ “the Sketch and a flower or multiple flowers”
I didn’t get the flower in there though! I love this set and haven’t used it much. Even though I do not currently have a soccer player in my house, I thought this would be a great card for a friend of mine who loves soccer. She used to play in college. So, just right!
I stamped the image from Great Sport in Versa Mark on Real Red DSP from Polka Dot Parade. I sprinkled it with Whisper White Embossing Powder and hit it with the new SU Heat Tool ( a serious MUST HAVE!) and then repeated it again on the Daffodil Polkadot Parade DSP.
The soccer ball was stamped in Tempting Turquoise. So, red, yellow blue… awwww… my favorite colors together! And, added in a little Lucky Limeade Twine for good measure!
So, no excuses this week! this is a a GREAT challenge! You can do this, so get busy and come back to The Friday Mash Up and let us see what you made!
I also used this week’s Color Q challenge to create my card.

What a fun card, Erica, love that soccer ball! Soon it will be time for soccer again! Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at the colourQ.
Really fun card Erica. Thank you so much for joining us at this week at the colourQ!
I had to give this a double take to make sure I was seeing a soccer ball! What a fun card that I'm sure your friend will love! Thanks for joining us at colourQ!
Love how you've embossed the image on both pieces of dsp and matched them up – such a clever effect!
This is wonderful! I love how you have the embossed images on both layers of DSP! This is such a bright and fun card!
